The Rockwood Harriers were established in 1868 by Walter Norton of Denby Dale. We presently trail hunt the West Yorkshire area with some country on the Eastern side on loan from the Badsworth Hunt.
We are bounded by Huddersfield, Mirfield, Horbury, Barnsley, Stocksbridge, Holmfirth & Bretton

We dress in the traditional harrier colour of hunting green with members wearing the 'old gold collar' exclusive to this hunt

The kennels presently have 23 1/2 couple of hounds and are based at Blacker Farm, Emley, Huddersfield.
